Taken on the same day as Golden Lion Tamarin and Acouchi(as you can see, I'm really making an effort with the titles! )
This is at the Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo in the Caribbean exhibit, where you walk through the habitat on a path, animals and plants all around you.. no barriers.
I want to steal one of the Tamarins! (and a ring tailed lemur! I wish I could get good shots of them, but they're behind glass / cage)
Please give me your honest opinion.
I processed this fairly quickly, trying out some things in PS. Luckily, I didn't have to do TOO much to it b/c that lovely light patternwas there to start with (I think that's what it is anyway... maybe light on a palm leaf?)
Would this be one I can sell on Friday? (see journal)

Sure, but depends on the portrait, what kind of portrait... etc. Take this for example: [link] or this one [link]
They tell 2 complete different stories, I love both, but I'd only buy the latter. It tells a story, it has some mistery on it, and the other one only has a beautiful girl looking at a camera with lovely bokeh... for what I've seen... those are the kind of portraits people like to buy.
so you'd buy the cweeks story telling one but most would buy the pretty girl?
I was thinking of selling one of my photos of my friend.. I have a few "pretty girl" type ones that I haven't processed yet.. already up are: [link] [link] [link] [link]
I was thinking probably the last is the least sellable and more likely to sell would be the B&W's b/c they won't clash with anyone's decor lol. The closeup isn't as crisp as I'd like though.. was taken on my first day trying out "real" photography and with a film camera! lol

Sure, you could sell this picture, have you tried B&W post processing??
I haven't tried B&W yet but with the light it would prob look good
side note: do you think I could sell portraits? I know people sell them on dA, but I dunno how many ppl want an image of someone they don't know..

An alternative to straight B&W could be a B&W layer set to overlay. You'll get a bit of the feel of a B&W shot, but you'll retain the colours.

At the ancient pond / a frog plunges / into the sound of water.

Are haunted houses really just riddled with people-affecting infrasound?
